It's What They Do NOT Talk About!
I thought Obama’s historic run for the Presidency was lengthy, but I have a feeling it was just the beginning. The Obama surge gained strength early in 2007 and continues to this day as he travels from college campus to college campus spouting his never ending rhetoric.
Hillary kicked off her quest for the office with an interview on 60 Minutes this week with Obama on her arm. Basically, they, and the leadership of the Democratic Party, announced that she will take the reins in 2016. So, it continues; Democrat, liberal, “we love the middle class and union workers, America must achieve energy independence from foreign oil, we respect our military, no one loves the poor and Hispanics more than us, a chicken in every pot, affordable health care for all and I am a true patriot” hypocritical dribble.
The middles class workers are the tax base; we pay for all those enormous worldwide educational and environmental programs, foreign aid, public service workers pensions and salaries and pork spending. Please note that I did not mention anything about building infrastructure in the United States or defending the American People. WE, the middle class, are expected to sacrifice our children to the “greater good”, and be glad of it, as politicians police the world; while our borders are over run with illegals and terrorists.
Looking back to the 60s, I remember politicians announcing that we would reach energy independence in 10 years. I am not seeing it! John Dingel (D) has been in the House for 57 years, John Conyers (D) 48 years, Charlie Rangel (D) 42 years, Bill Young (R) 42 years, Joe Biden served in the Senate for over 36 years and his buddy, Harry Reid, has been in the Senate for 26 years. Haven’t they been doing a fine job?
Food and energy costs have been on a constant rise for decades. The EPA, established in 1970 by Richard Nixon, has regulated some energy producers out of business and cost others billions to retool per the Clean Air Act born in 1963. This one law has forced Americans to pay more for everything from heating or cooling the home to the cars we drive and the food we eat.
“The 1963 version of the legislation established a research program, expanded in 1967. Major amendments to the law, requiring regulatory controls for air pollution, passed in 1970, 1977 and 1990.
The 1970 amendments greatly expanded the federal mandate, requiring comprehensive federal and state regulations for both stationary (industrial) pollution sources and mobile sources. It also significantly expanded federal enforcement.
The 1990 amendments addressed acid rain, ozone depletion and toxic air pollution, established a national permits program for stationary sources, and increased enforcement authority. The amendments also established new auto gasoline reformulation requirements, set Reid vapor pressure (RVP) standards to control evaporative emissions from gasoline, and mandated new gasoline formulations sold from May to September in many states.” Wikipedia
The League of Women Voters of Ohio, http://lwvohio.org/, is in the process of joining the Michigan League for the Great Lakes Ecosystem plan. Driven by the EPA, since 1974, with an emphasis on water pollution prevention and water use conservation, this plan will regulate water use by farmers and municipalities along the five great lakes; including our own Lake Erie.
Reading all the information available to me, I couldn’t help but wonder, “How much is this costing me?” All of the research, planning and action taken by the EPA, and its finger agencies, since 1970, have been fully funded by the taxpayers. Trillions thus far! The Republican and Democratic Presidents, since 1974, have built the EPA network and given it more and more enforcement authority. The US EPA employs over 17,000 and its 2012 budget was over 8.5 billion of our dollars! I could not secure the budget info for Ohio’s EPA at this time.
So, as Hillary continues her quest to be El Presidente, let us all listen to all that is NOT said. Her actions, often behind a veiled curtain of secrecy, speak volumes about her.
If you are not convinced that you are over taxed and underrepresented; you may be hopeless!
